5th Anniversary

Yesterday, was our 5th wedding anniversary. We headed down to San Diego on Saturday and Kate stayed with my parents. It was really nice to have some time together and remember what it was like to be "us". I forgot how much I like this guy! We really have a lot of fun together and I am grateful we had this opportunity to reconnect. It showed me that we need to do more alone things more often to nurture our relationship. Having a baby makes it really difficult to focus on each other.

When we came home we found a ton of baby spiders all over our bed! It was horrifying. We ripped the sheets off and ended up sleeping on the couches. At around 2:30 am I finally gave in and went to the bed making sure there were no other uninvited guests. Brett stayed on the couch in the living room. So, even though we are as happy as can be, we slept in separate rooms for our 5th anniversary!
